Dr. DEBASHIS CHATTERJEE
DIRECTOR
IIM -KOZHIKODE

Professor Debashis Chatterjee has taught leadership classes at Harvard University and at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, Lucknow and Kozhikode for nearly two decades. He has been awarded the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship twice for Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral work at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. His published work includes eighteen books including the recent release Karma Sutras: Leadership and Wisdom in Uncertain Times, Leading Consciously (foreword for both books by Peter M Senge) and Timeless Leadership (Wiley) that have been translated in several international languages. He has trained more than twenty thousand managers globally in Fortune 100 Corporations and over twenty-five thousand school principals and teachers. His books Can You Teach A Zebra Some Algebra and Invincible Arjuna has emerged as path-breaking books in the education space in India. He has served as leadership coach to political leaders and CEOs of major Indian organizations. He has served as Dean of an international business school in Singapore. A pioneer in the field of Asian models in leadership, Professor Chatterjee has served a successful term (2009- 2014) as the Director at IIM Kozhikode. Dean and tenured Professor at IIM Lucknow and Mentor Director of IIM Amritsar (2018-19), Prof. Chatterjee is credited with transforming IIM Kozhikode from an obscure regional school to an institution of national impact and global recognition. He also served as Director General of IMI Delhi, India’s first corporate sponsored business school and as Independent Director on the Boards of several multinational and Indian Companies. Prof. Debashis Chatterjee has been reappointed as Director of IIM Kozhikode for a second 5 years term beginning 2018.

Dr. NISREEN AMEEN
PROFESSOR
UNIVERSITY OF LONDON

Nisreen Ameen is a Lecturer in Marketing, Co-Director of the Digital Organisation and Society research centre and Co-Leader of the Research Cluster: Cybersecurity and Human Behaviour at Royal Holloway, University of London. Nisreens research interests include digital marketing, human-computer interaction, consumer behaviour, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled customers service, data security and ethics; and e-business. She is a Senior Editor for Information Technology and People, Associate Editor for International Journal of Consumer Studies and a Board Member of the UK Academy of Information Systems (UKAIS). Nisreen is an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research, The Service Industries Journal and Journal of Enterprise Information Management. In addition, she has been a Lead Guest Editor for special issues in high-ranked journals such as Information Systems Frontiers, Psychology and Marketing, Computers in Human Behavior and The Service Industries Journal. Additionally, she is acting as Guest Associate Editor for a special issue in Information Systems Journal. In addition, she was the Best Paper Prize winner at the UK Academy of Information Systems (UKAIS) 2018 conference and she won the Best Researcher Award at the Bloomsbury Institute London in 2019. She presented her work at national and international conferences in the United Kingdom, United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle east. She is also a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and an affiliate member of the Charted Institute of Marketing (CIM). She is also acting as a co-chair for British Academy of Management (BAM 2021) conference SIG ‘E-business and e-government’.



Dr. C. JOE ARUN, SJ

LOYOLA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (LIBA)

Dr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, is the Director of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) where he teaches Strategic and Marketing Management. He holds a doctorate in Anthropology from Oxford University, United Kingdom with a thesis on Conflict Management and Identity Construction and an MBA in Marketing and Human Resources Management. A Gold Medalist, he received the Best Student Award in his Postgraduation. He teaches Consumer Behaviour, Leadership and Strategy, Cross-cultural Management, Entrepreneurship, and Conflict management. He has written many books in English (Constructing Identity, Interculturation of Religion, Theories of Social Change, Rustic Entrepreneurs, Business Moves, Making of Entrepreneurs etc.) and published many scientific articles in ABDC and SCOPUS journals. He is a PhD supervisor, at IDCR, Loyola College, affiliated to Madras University, Chennai with eight PhD students writing their thesis in culture, behaviour, strategy and leadership. He has held both academic and administrative positions as Secretary & Correspondent, Loyola College – Chennai, Deputy Director, Loyola-Icam College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) – Chennai, Director, Xavier Institute of Business Administration (XIBA) - St. Xavier’s College – Palayamkottai, Director, Goa Institute of Management (GIM) - Goa, St Joseph Institute of Management (JIM), St. Joseph’s College – Trichy. At present, he is Director of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai.



Dr. Sankarshan Basu
PROFESSOR
IIM BANGALORE

Dr Basu holds a BSc degree (Statistics), from Presidency College, Calcutta, India. He has completed his MSc (Statistics),from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and his PhD (Statistics), from London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. Professor Basu’s areas of interest in terms of research are in Financial Calculus, Option Pricing, Bond and Portfolio Valuation, Applications of Quantitative Techniques to Finance, Insurance, Reinsurance, Risk Management, Biostatistics and Corporate Finance. He has presented his work at international conferences in Thailand, USA, UK, France, Spain, Norway, Iran, Tunisia, Morocco, The Netherlands and India. He has, to his credit, a number of papers in international journals of repute like Insurance: Mathematics and Economics and the Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference. He is currently President of the Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association (APRIA). Professor Basu teaches Financial Calculus, Option Pricing, Bond and Portfolio Valuation, Applications of Quantitative Techniques to Finance, Insurance, Reinsurance, Risk Management, Biostatistics, and Corporate Finance. Prior to joining IIMB, Professor Basu was briefly in the finance industry, working in the Treasury Operations of ICICI Ltd. (now ICICI Bank Ltd.) at their Mumbai office. He is actively involved in various consulting and training projects across various domains like banks (e.g., State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Vijaya Bank, and Federal Bank), insurance companies (e.g., ING Vysya Life Insurance), stock exchanges (Bombay Stock Exchange), and various governmental agencies (e.g., Indian Revenue Service and the Indian Foreign Service) as well as other corporate entities.Dr Sankarshan Basu also serves on the boards of a few companies like The Clearing Corporation of India Limited, The Bangalore Stock Exchange Limited, and Bilcare India.



Dr. RUNA SARKAR
PROFESSOR
IIM -CALCUTTA

Runa Sarkar is a Professor with the Economics Group at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a member of the committee for the Centre for Development and Environment Policy. Prior to this, she taught at IIT Kanpur. A chemical engineer from BITS Pilani, Runa pursued her Masters in environmental engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. After spending five years as an environmental consultant in a subsidiary of Tata Steel, Runa completed her doctoral studies from IIM Calcutta. Her interests lie in sustainable development where business interests are in consonance with environmental and social interests. Runa has a penchant for multidisciplinary research and has also been involved in the application of social informatics in the agricultural domain. She has been working in the field of corporate environmental behaviour for over two decades, and has published widely in this area. She is the chairperson of CTran Consulting Services, a leading climate change consulting business in India and on the board of the Basix Social Enterprise Group and Basix Consulting and Technology Services. Runa has been a sustainability assessor for CII. Prof. Sarkar has been one of the co-editors of the India Infrastructure Report (IIR) 2010 on Infrastructure Development in a Low Carbon Economy and IIR 2009 on Land – A Critical Resource for Infrastructure, published by the 3i network. She, along with Prof. Anup Sinha of IIM Calcutta, is the co-author of a book titled Another Development: Participation, Empowerment and Well-being, published by Routledge in early 2015. Another book, titled Environment, Business, and Institutions was published by Oxford in April 2017. This is followed by an edited book (jointly edited with Prof. Annapurna Shaw) on Sustainability published by Springer in June 2017. At present, she is working on a book on the Economics of Sustainable Development with Prof. Anup Sinha.



Dr. RAMENDRA SINGH
PROFESSOR
IIM -CALCUTTA

Ramendra Singh is Professor of Marketing at IIM Calcutta, India. He completed PhD from IIM Ahmedabad, MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, and B.Tech from IIT-BHU. His research has been published in reputed international journals including, International Marketing Review, Marketing Theory, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, and Journal of Information Technology. Ramendra has previously worked for several years in sales and marketing responsibilities in several multinational companies. He is on the boards of startup firms. He has also authored a textbook on Sales and Distribution Management which has been widely adopted in MBA programs at various IIMs. He has conducted several training programs at senior level and middle level management for several organizations including Indian Oil, Oil India, TVS Motor, Amway, BPCL, John Deere, NTPC, India Post, IRTS among others.
