Dr. Subhasis Ray
Professor

Prof. Ray has taught/spoken to students of 35+ nationalities in 25 countries at leading global universities including Harvard, Cornell, Yale, INSEAD, ESADE, University of Queensland and Tsinghua University (China). He has held visiting positions at Soka University (Japan), Hanken School of Economics (Finland) and St Petersburg State University (Russia).His research interest lies at the intersection of business, society and marketing. He has published in Australasian Marketing Journal, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, Marketing Intelligence & Planning, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Management Research Review, Journal of Global Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility & Environmental Management, Journal of Non-profit and Public Sector Marketing.


Dr. Hema Swaminathan
EDUCATION
IIM BANGALORE

Dr. HemaSwaminathan has completed her Ph.D.in Agricultural Economics from The Pennsylvania State University, USA. Hema Swaminathan is Professor at the Centre for Public Policy IIM Bangalore . Her recent research focuses on inequality in income and wealth distributions between men and women, female labour participation in India, and survey methodology to collect improved gender data in several domains. Prof. Swaminathan is currently serving on several policy committees including, the Standing Committee of Economic Statistics (SCES), Government of India and the Technical Advisory Group for the Engendering Informality Project, International Labour Organisation (ILO).



Dr. John Cullen Maynooth

University of Ireland

Dr. John Cullen is Interim Dean of Graduate Studies at Maynooth University and Associate Professor in the School of Business. He has strong pedagogical research interests in responsible and sustainable management education and learning. He is also the Director of Postgraduate Teaching & Learning in the School of Business.His research explores how managers and organisations learn responsible management, ethical leadership and sustainable change practices that help their business grow, while contributing to environmental and social sustainability. His work explores the skills and competencies required by businesses from managers, existing staff and new graduates in order to help them meet the challenges posed by climate change, social responsibility and new ways of working. He is Co-Principal Investigator and Maynooth University lead on the 'Sustainability in Enterprise: Delivering a Low Carbon Future' HCI Pillar 3 project which is a cross-institutional collaboration with University College Cork and Atlantic Technological University in Ireland which was awarded nearly €4 million in funding in late 2020.



Dr Mritiunjoy Mohanty
PROFESSOR of Economics
Indian Institute of Management Calcutta

Dr. Mritiunjoy Mohanty is a Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in Kolkata, India. He has served as a member of the Board of Governors of IIM Calcutta. Besides business schools and universities in India , he has taught and lectured in Mexico and Canada. He is also currently associated as a Visiting Fellow with the Centre d'études et de recherche sur l'Inde, l'Asie du Sud et sa diaspora (CERIAS) of Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in Montreal, Canada. Prior to joining IIM Calcutta, he worked for a Ministry of External Affairs think-tank of the GOI and the ILO. His areas of research interest are growth and structural change, open economy macroeconomics and the political economy of growth. His current area of research is the nature and pattern of India's integration into the global economy in a comparative framework, particularly with that of China.



Prof. Ashok Banerjee
DIRECTOR
Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur

Prof. Ashok Banerjee joined the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) as Professor (Finance and Control) in August 2004. Prior to joining IIM-C, he was a professor at IIM-Lucknow. He was the Dean (New Initiatives and external Relations) of IIM Calcutta during 2012-2015.His current areas of research include high frequency finance and sentiment analysis. Prof. Banerjee studies the behaviour of algorithmic traders in intraday market. He is particularly interested in the role of proprietary algorithmic traders in supporting market quality. In sentiment analysis domain, he uses text from corporate filings and electronic media to estimate default probability of corporate borrowers. He is presently working on directional prediction of inflation using news.



Prof.(Dr.) Mamata Ray
PROFESSOR
Retired Vice-Chairman (Academic), West Bengal State Council of Higher Education

Prof.(Dr.) Mamata Ray is the Retired Vice-Chairman (Academic), West Bengal State Council of Higher Education. Dr. Ray was a Professor of Economics and was awarded Ph.D Degree in Economics by the University of Calcutta. Her Ph.D thesis was on Ph. D: “Regional Banking & Lending Behaviour of Commercial Banks - A Path- dependent Analysis”. She was the Pro-VC (BA & F) of University of Calcutta from 2011 till 2014. She was the First Lady Principal of Presidency College, Kolkata and Former Principal of Lady Brabourne College, Maulana Azad College and Bethune College. She had research publications in journals of national and international repute.
